SPRED (Special Religious Development)
The SPRED (Special Religious Development) ministry at St. Matthew is for adults or children with a developmental disability or learning impairment. Through the experience of friendship in one-on-one and group relationships, those who have a disability discover a place where they can belong and enjoy meaningful relationships which can help them realize their own dignity. Through response to ritual and a shared sense of community, they are made ready to participate in the sacramental life of the church. SPRED Coordinator: Jan Clemens 704-246-7102
