   Pastoral Care Ministers to Hospitals

Mission: To pray and share the liturgy of the Eucharistic meal with people in hospitals, thereby nurturing the spirit and keeping it healthy and flourishing. Praying and sharing relates how the Catholic community has them in their prayers. Pastoral Care is a ministry of spiritual care.

St. Matthew is in need of volunteers for our Pastoral Care Ministry. Our ministers have the privilege of visiting and sharing the Eucharist with those either home-bound or in nursing homes and independent and assisted living facilities.  Please contact Father Davis if you are interested in serving in this very special ministry at either bdavis@stmatthewcatholic.org or 704-543-7677 ext. 1067.

Time commitment of volunteers: One to two hours on the day served. One day a week.
