Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Adult leaders are always needed for Children's Liturgy of the Word. Commitment involves preparing for the Gospel reading and being at your assigned Mass. CLOW provides an opportunity to share with the children the readings and Gospel in terms they understand. It is a very rewarding experience. Volunteers work a rotating schedule, typically once a month. Leaders are needed at all Masses. .

Shepherds are also needed. They are individuals who volunteer during Mass to assist the CLOW leader. Become engaged in the Mass and earn service hours. Volunteers must be sixth grade or above. Adult shepherds are welcome provided they have completed all Safe Environment volunteer requirements.

Adults interested in volunteering, please contact Sara Gerbino. Training includes an orientation. Anyone over 18 years must complete all diocesan safe environment requirements. Shepherds must introduce themselves to the leader either in the Narthex before Mass or in the Daily Mass Chapel.

Smiling, happy, and hospitable parishioners are needed at every Mass at all the doors to greet everyone as they come to worship with our community. No special skills are needed and there are no age limitations!! Please consider participating in this important welcoming ministry. Contact Jen Fredenberg at 980-339-8718.

Welcome Desk
Volunteers share their time and talent at the welcome desk (in the narthex) before and after all Masses to welcome newcomers and visitors, share information and answer questions. Please contact Maureen Moore at 704-220-7806.

Pastoral Care Ministry
Parishioners visit area assisted-living centers and nursing homes each week to distribute Communion and minister to the spiritual needs of the sick. These Eucharistic visits bring the comforts of prayer and conversation in a loving spirit to those who are suffering and may be struggling to keep hope in their life. Helping to meet the spiritual needs of the sick is a rewarding opportunity. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for this beautiful ministry, serving one Sunday a month. For more information or to volunteer, contact Dennis Stergar at 704-201-5850.
