St. Matthew > Faith Formation > Faith and Family Program Volunteer

Through faith formation, family and youth ministry programs, our primary goal is to provide parents with the support to raise children in the Catholic faith and build a family life which is built upon and completely intertwined with that faith. We seek to offer the opportunity to discover the joy of a friendship with Jesus, and to learn how to grow that friendship through the gift of our Catholic faith.

The Diocese of Charlotte’s Safe Environment program is undergoing some exciting changes over the coming weeks.

  • If you are already a registered volunteer in the diocese, you will receive an email in the next few weeks with an explanation of the changes and further instructions to continue as a volunteer.
  • If you are looking to register as a first-time volunteer, please check our bulletin or contact Lisa Hornung, our parish’s Safe Environment coordinator for further instructions. You may also contact the Diocese Safe Environment Office at safeenvironment@rcdoc.org.

Thank you!
