Adult Support of Youth Ministry

St. Matthew’s Youth Ministry is dependent on parents and adult volunteers to offer the engaging, Christ-centered programming that we desire for our youth. There are multiple ways parents and adults help us to build lasting Christian relationships with teens. Please consider offering your support in one of the following ways:

Sunday Night Dinner Support – These dinners are an important (and easy) way to support our ministry. Support our Sunday Night Dinners through donations of food, money or time.
Teen Recognition – Our teens need recognition and praise. Volunteer to support teens from a specific school or community by sending cards, noting accomplishments, or reaching out in other ways.
CORE Appreciation – Our CORE members dedicate lots of time to our youth. Show appreciation for their time and dedication through prayers, a note or even a gift card.
Become a CORE Member – CORE team members inspire and engage our teens to know Christ by building Christ-centered relationships with them and being present in their lives. With staff support, CORE team members run our Sunday program and annual retreats. If you sense that God might be calling you into this fulfilling ministry, we would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss more of the details.
Event Chaperone – St. Matthew sponsors a handful of summer camps, weekend trips, and retreats.  Consider dedicating a weekend or a full week to chaperone an overnight youth event.
Xtreme Edge Adult Support – Help our middle school ministry one Friday evening a month with games, movies, food and other exciting events. Like all our ministries, this ministry is also about building relationships with our youth.
