Vision

To praise Him with song!

Mission

To foster and nurture participation within the worshiping community through proclaiming the Word in song, leading congregational singing, and presenting liturgically appropriate music which speaks to an individual’s soul, aiding them on their faith journey. Additionally, we aim to cultivate a true sense of Christian community through hospitality and service to all.

Opportunities to Volunteer

Adult Choir We invite you to become a part of this faith-filled, joyful, fun and welcoming community. No audition is necessary and you don’t have to read music. Just show up at any rehearsal and we’ll take it from there. Rehearsals: Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9 pm, September through May, in the choir room at the main campus. Time commitment: 3 hours weekly (1.5 hours for rehearsal; 1.5 hours to sing at Mass including arrival time 30 minutes prior.) Additional time for holy days and special liturgies (i.e. Christmas, Holy Week, Confirmation, first Eucharist, etc.)

Youth Choir Calling all fourth through eighth graders! Singing in this choir is a wonderful way for older children to worship God through song, learn Scripture, develop musical skills, and have fun. Rehearsals: Every first and third Thursday of the month from 6 to 6:50 pm, September through May, in the choir room at the main campus. Time commitment: 50 minute rehearsals twice monthly, plus 1.5 hours for Mass once a month. Click here for more information.

The Grace Notes Children’s Choir This choir is for children in kindergarten through third grade. It is a fun, uplifting, and positive way for your child to strengthen his or her relationship with Jesus! Rehearsals: Every second and fourth Thursday of the month from 6 to 6:45 pm, September through May, in the choir room at the main campus. Time commitment: 45 minute rehearsals twice monthly, plus 1.5 hours for Mass four times during the choir season. Click here for more information.

Immediate ministry needs: We always need additional choir members for all Masses. At this time, our specific need is for singers at all the Waxhaw campus Masses, as well as the 5:30 pm Saturday Vigil and the 12:30 pm Sunday Masses at the main campus. We also need audio/video volunteers for all Masses and all locations. Training will be provided.
