“So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, the new things have come. And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation … We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5: 17-19, 20
The Catholic Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance, or Penance and Reconciliation) has three elements: conversion, confession and celebration. In it we find God’s unconditional forgiveness; as a result we are called to forgive others.
The reconciliation rooms on the Ballantyne Campus are located in the main church building directly near the entrance to the Daily Mass Chapel. Both the face-to-face and discreet methods are offered:
Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 pm
Saturday afternoons from 4 to 5 pm or by request.
The sacrament is offered at the Waxhaw campus on Saturdays from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
