“Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.”
– 1 Peter 4:10
In light of the restrictions due to covid-19, many of our volunteer opportunities are temporarily suspended or have been altered to provide a safe experience for those involved. If you are offering to serve or donate items, please adhere to all guidelines to protect yourself and those who will benefit from your stewardship.
St. Matthew is a service-oriented parish with ministries and groups for all ages, children through seniors. Our more than 100 ministries are grouped into four categories: Liturgy & Worship, Education & Faith Formation, Stewardship & Service and Parish Family Life. Whether you are interested in serving food to the hungry, passing on the Catholic faith to children or taking part in the Mass, we have a place for you! See a full list of our ministries here.
If you are unsure where you are called to serve, consider participating in Living Your Strengths. This empowering program helps individuals identify their unique God-given talents and provides discernment on how to best use them in their professional and personal lives. The six-week, small-group Living Your Strengths Journey is offered twice a year. Also available is LYS Discovery, a shorter version offered periodically throughout the year.
