Father Benjamin Roberts grew up in nearby Lancaster, South Carolina, where his parents still reside. Ordained in 2009, he served in parishes in Greensboro and Salisbury before becoming pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Monroe in 2012. Over the years, Father Roberts has pursued advanced studies in preaching, theology, and leadership, and has shared his expertise by teaching at seminaries across the country and presenting nationally on preaching and pastoral ministry.
