Father Herbert Burke, a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland, was ordained to the priesthood in June 1992 by Cardinal James Hickey at St. Matthew Cathedral in Washington, D.C. In July 2001, he was assigned to Immaculate Conception Parish in Forest City, where he served as pastor for 25 years. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Father Burke is also an accomplished author, with eight published books through Queenship Publishing. He will serve as parochial vicar for St. Matthew.
