What if I'm only interested in being in a small group for Lent or Advent?
In the past, most of the Small Groups at St Matthew have met during the Lenten or Advent seasons which is fine. Our resource library offers recommendations for groups who wish to meet for an abbreviated period. However, we encourage all groups to consider meeting throughout the year based on a schedule that works for them. We and other parish communities have found that people who are part of a group which meets regularly have more robust discussions, develop deeper friendships and have a more rewarding experience.
