St. Matthew > Stewardship Committee

Mission

The St. Matthew Church Stewardship Committee educates parishioners on Catholic teachings regarding the stewardship of time, talent and treasure, fostering the growth of Catholic stewards by promoting service (time and talent) through its annual Ministry Fair Weekend events and sacrificial giving (stewardship of treasure) through its annual Stewardship of Treasure Renewal Weekend. The committee also encourages stewardship by children and teens through children’s activities and an annual Teen Stewardship Scholarship.

Volunteer Opportunities

Committee members serve at the invitation of the pastor and must demonstrate a commitment to stewardship of time, talent and treasure.

Time Commitment

Ten to twelve monthly meetings per year, plus support of ongoing education efforts and biannual stewardship events.
