Mission
We are devoted to helping our missions and others receive the gift of the rosary, thereby making their prayers more deeply centered in the life of Christ.
Since Our Lady’s Rosary Makers Guild began in August of 2000, we have distributed over 198,000 rosaries. We are a group of approximately 60 men and women who make rosaries for Third World countries, military personnel, hospital ministries, first Communion classes, Divine Mercy Sunday, and many others.
Volunteer Opportunities
After being trained to make rosaries, it is an easy process of picking up supplies and dropping off completed rosaries. You complete the rosaries at home at you own pace and without any minimum requirements.
Meetings are scheduled on the last Wednesday of January, March, May, September and November at 10 am in New Life Center 132/125. We begin each meeting by praying the Rosary, and then have a business meeting. Meetings are not mandatory and anyone who wishes may stay later to socialize and make rosaries. Everyone is welcome, and we will gladly train you to make the rosaries.
Thoughts of a Rosary Maker
As I string these beads to make a rosary, I think of you dear Blessed Mother. In and of themselves they are mere plastic and of little worth.
I wonder whose hands will receive them, and in Your sweet name, who will pray them and transform them from plastic into spiritual offerings of untold worth.
And so, each time I complete a rosary, I pray that a pair of hands unknown to me, but known to you, will join in praise of You.
Hear us Blessed Mother as we join in spiritual unity praying: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
