The Cursillo Movement is a recognized apostolic movement of the Roman Catholic Church and is a member of the International Catholic Organizations of the Pontifical Council for the Laity in Rome. Cursillo endeavors to assist Catholic laity in establishing a joyful, living relationship with Jesus Christ through a method of friendship that emphasizes the importance of living and sharing a balanced life of piety, ongoing spiritual study, and Christian action.
