Mission
To provide food for the homeless and working poor of Union County on the first Sunday of each month.
Volunteer Opportunities
Help us bring dinner to the homeless and working poor of Union County. For all the info and to volunteer.
St. Matthew Catholic Church parishioners are hosting a hot meal on the first Sunday of the month, Sept. – May. You do not have to be a member of St. Matthew to volunteer. However, you do need to register as a non-parishioner, be active in ministry, and complete all safe environment policy requirements.
Here is how you can help:
- Donate Food: Please sign up on the SignUpGenius. Food may be dropped off the weekend of the meal after the 4 pm Mass on Saturday and after both Masses on Sunday at the Waxhaw campus kitchen. Please label your donation (FF) and put any refrigerated items in the fridge. Also, we are at the Waxhaw campus from 3:30 to 4 pm the day of the meal to collect donations. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please contact the team at francisfeast@gmail.com. We will be happy to accommodate you. God bless you for your help in this ministry.
- Serve Dinner/ Clean Up: Space is limited so sign up now to serve on the first Sunday of the month from 5:30 to 7 pm.
The address is 160 Meadow Street, Monroe, NC 28110
