Our Ushers, now called Hosts, create a welcoming and hospitable environment at St. Matthew. As a Host, you help greet parishioners, assist with seating, collect offerings, and ensure everyone feels at home in our faith community. If you have a heart for hospitality and service, consider joining this meaningful ministry.
Mission
To ensure the orderly and safe flow of the Mass by assisting with seating, collections, Communion and security.
Volunteer Opportunities
Ushers ages 14 and older at all Masses.
Time Commitment
1.5 hours includes arriving early to assigned Mass and staying after until tasks are completed. The frequency of service depends on the Mass time assigned.
