All Saints’ Day Mass Schedule
All Saints’ Day is a solemn holy day of obligation for the Catholic Church celebrated annually on Nov. 1. The day is dedicated to the saints of the Church, all those who have attained heaven. All Saints’ Day was formally started by Pope Boniface IV, who consecrated the Pantheon in Rome to the Virgin Mary and all the martyrs on May 13 609 AD. Boniface IV also established All Souls’ Day, which follows All Saints’ Day.

All Souls’ Day Mass Schedule
All Souls’ Day is a time to remember all the faithful departed, though it is not a holy day of obligation. A special Mass will be held at 9 am in the main campus church, and all who have lost a loved one, especially in the past year, are warmly invited to attend. Please plan to arrive early to write your loved ones’ names in the Book of Remembrance before Mass begins. The book will be presented at the offertory and placed beneath the tabernacle for the entire month of November. If you are unable to attend on Nov. 2, you are welcome to add names throughout the month. For more information, email Bereavement Coordinator Allyson Casingal at acasingal@stmatthewcatholic.org.
