Join Us for the Divine Mercy Novena

Experience the depth of God’s mercy this Easter season

We invite all parishioners to join us in praying the Divine Mercy Novena, a powerful devotion given by Jesus to St. Faustina, which begins on Good Friday (April 18) and ends on Divine Mercy Sunday (April 27). This novena prepares our hearts to receive the fullness of God’s mercy and to offer that mercy to others.

Each day of the novena includes a special intention and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Whether you pray individually, with your family, or with a small group, this is a beautiful way to enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s Passion, death, and Resurrection.

Great Hour of Mercy – Divine Mercy Sunday at 3 pm

To culminate this sacred time, join us for a Holy Hour in honor of the Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 pm – the Hour of Mercy, in the church. We will gather before the Blessed Sacrament to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, offer silent reflection, and unite in prayer as a community of faith.

Jesus said to St. Faustina:

“At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion.” (Diary of St. Faustina, 1320)

How to Pray the Novena

You can find daily prayers and instructions on how to pray the novena on formed.org (free for parishioners), St. Matthew YouTube Channel (videos coming soon), or visit the front desk or welcome desk in the narthex for a red brochure.

Let us come together as a parish to reflect on the boundless mercy of God and be transformed by His love.
Jesus, I trust in You!
