St. Matthew > Men’s Homeless Ministry

Welcome to the Men’s Homeless Ministry at St. Matthew Catholic Church! For over 35 years, we have been dedicated to supporting Roof Above ministry in its mission to combat homelessness in our community. Our primary focus is on providing support to the homeless shelter by creating breakfast bags for the men staying there.

How You Can Help

One of the most impactful ways you can support our efforts is by contributing to our breakfast bag initiative. These bags provide essential morning sustenance to the men seeking shelter at Roof Above. To participate, simply create breakfast bags containing nonperishable breakfast items and drop them off in the ice machine room located on the first floor of the Life Center at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Ways to Support Roof Above

While our focus is on the breakfast bag initiative, Roof Above offers a range of services to battle homelessness comprehensively. They provide temporary shelters, affordable housing solutions, counseling services, and continuing education opportunities. If you’re interested in supporting their broader mission beyond creating breakfast bags, we encourage you to visit their website for more information.
