We congratulate Officer Peter Grant on his well-deserved retirement! We wish him and his family a future filled with joy, relaxation, and continued blessings. Officer Grant has been a dedicated member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) for 28 years. He has served the community with integrity, courage, and a strong sense of duty.
In addition to his commendable service with the CMPD, Officer Grant has faithfully served our parish community for over 20 years. His presence at St. Matthew has been a source of comfort and security for parishioners, and his involvement in various church activities has strengthened the bond between the parish and the local police force.
All are invited to drop in to celebrate and wish him well on Sunday, Aug. 11, after the 9 am and 10:45 am Masses in the New Life Center Banquet Room. Let’s express our gratitude for his years of service and commitment to our community.
