Who Do You Say I Am?
Our first Children’s Mass of the new school year will be celebrated during the 10:45 am Mass on Sunday, Aug. 23! Wear your Rainforest VBS shirt and join us as we praise the Lord together!
Children in third to fifth grade are welcome to serve as lectors, greeters, and gift bearers as we celebrate Mass at the Main Campus. Children in third grade or older are also invited to participate in our Children’s Choir, which sings at each monthly Children’s Mass. After Mass, we invite you and your family to come together for Family Sunday.

Family Sunday: Blessing of the Backpacks
Following the 10:45 am Mass on Sunday, Aug. 23, bring the backpack you’ll use for school, work or daycare to receive a special blessing. Then stay and enjoy our back-to-school activities and fellowship as we celebrate the start of a new school year together!
LTE Mass and Youth Choir
Do you have a middle school or high school student who would like to participate more fully in the Mass or join a choir? Our LTE Mass and Youth Choir are a great opportunity!
LTE stands for Life Teen (our high school youth group) and Edge (our middle school youth group). The LTE Mass is typically celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. During this Mass, middle school youth are invited to take an active role in the liturgy, serving in roles that are typically filled by high school teens or adults.
Our first LTE Mass of the year will take place on Aug. 30 at 5:30 pm at the main campus. If you or your teen are interested in participating in a liturgical role or learning more, please contact Bri at bbernosky@stmatthewcatholic.org.
The LTE Youth Choir is open to students in sixth grade and above and sings at the LTE Mass each month. If your child is interested in participating, please reach out to Ken at kboyce@stmatthewcatholic.org.
