Pastoral Care Ministers to the Homebound

Mission: To pray and share the Liturgy of the Word and Eucharistic meal with people at their residence, thereby nurturing the spirit and keeping it healthy and flourishing within each person served, demonstrating the presence and support of their Catholic faith community. Pastoral Care is a ministry of spiritual care.

Volunteer Opportunities

St. Matthew is in need of volunteers for our Pastoral Care Ministry. Our ministers have the privilege of visiting and sharing the Eucharist with those either home-bound or in nursing homes and independent and assisted living facilities. Please contact Father Davis if you are interested in serving in this very special ministry at either bdavis@stmatthewcatholic.org or 704-543-7677 ext. 1067.

Time commitment: One hour, one day a week.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Father Binoy Davis, 704-543-7677 x 1067.
