Welcoming Committee

Mission: To encourage a friendly environment of spirituality, hospitality and inclusion into the faith community of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Volunteer opportunities: Many volunteer opportunities exist including Mass greeters, Welcome Desk ministers, WelcomeMatt committee members, ushers and making phone calls to newcomers.

St. Matthew Parish has been such a blessing to our family. This is our third move in six years and I am amazed at our Parish. I was part of the Moving On after Moving In group and I cannot tell you enough how wonderful this group was in helping myself and my family get settled. It has truly helped us become quickly comfortable with the church and the area. I am also amazed at the personal touches, especially the cards and notes from the Monsignor. Everyone at the church has gone out of their way to make the large congregation feel small.
