St. Matthew > Stewardship > Stewardship for Youth

The gift of a grateful heart and a desire to give back is a worthy legacy to leave with your children. St. Matthew has special stewardship envelopes to encourage a spirit of generosity in the children of our parish.
Youth stewardship envelopes are available for children through grade five and also for those in middle and high school. They are available for pick up at the Welcome Desk in the Narthex.

Children may use their stewardship envelopes each week to offer thanks to God for all of the blessings they have received. And they can write down how they used their time, talents and treasure to do good for other people.

Here are some example questions to consider:

Do you take time each day to thank God for all you have?
Do you ever use your time to help others?
If you are good at doing something (drawing, cleaning or being a good listener), do you use that talent to help someone else?
Do you give a portion of the money you receive to help the church and the poor?
